Light Up the Lake
A spectacular display of color and boom, synchronized to All-American favorites from a local radio station. South Haven's busiest night of the year, plan early to beat the tens of thousands of visitors who join us for our famous fireworks display celebrating the birth of our nation! Every July 3.
This festival celebrating the sweet juicy fruit is one of the best festivals in Western Michigan. This festival brings people to South Haven to celebrate the blueberry harvest. With pie-eating contests, a parade through downtown, local and regional bands, a beach party complete with blueberries, a blueberry centric special farmers market, craft fair, and even a 5K and 10k race.
When you are on the beach on South Beach looking out over beautiful, crystal clear Lake Michigan it is easy to think Miami. Miles of white sandy beach, a great little downtown with great stores and restaurants to visit. The course will not disappoint with both bike and run courses taking you along lake michigan and back. Both courses are flat and fast. You will have one short climb up out of the south beach area.
All Crafts Fair @ Stanley Johnston Park
The air will be filled with the sweet smells of tasty foods at the 2016 Craft Fairs, from the traditional to the more substantial. Be sure to stop by the community showcase booths highlighting local non-profit groups and showcasing why the South Haven area provides a quality of life unique to small town America yet indicative of large city amenities! A stroll through the South Haven Area Craft Fairs provides visitors with a relaxing respite and the opportunity to pick up some unique arts and crafts. Labor Day Weekend.
