Lakeshore Harvest Country Road Rally
October 11, 2014: Discover what’s between Saugatuck and South Haven during this annual scavenger hunt that offers the possibility of taking home a huge trophy. Departing from Barden’s Farm Market in South Haven at 1pm your team will collect points as you travel towards Saugatuck solving clues, visiting farms, back roads and more. Cost $20 per vehicle.

Homestead Fall Festival
October 18, 2014: Spend the day at Stokes Homestead Farm Market and delight in fun for the whole family. Including an arts & crafts fair, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin painting, wagon rides through apple orchards and pumpkin patches where you can stop and pick. There will be even be live music, fun snacks including a s’mores roasting station, caramel apple station, trick or treating and more. Put on your favorite costume and come down to the farm.

November 15-December 24, 2014: Held by the South Haven Center for the arts this fundraiser is a great place to pick up holiday gifts. Artists sell paintings, photography, jewelry and more. The Mistletoe market is located at the South Haven Center for the Arts at 600 Phoenix Street.

South Haven Steelheaders River Tournament
November 22, 2014: Win cash and prizes at this annual fishing tournament. With a $10 Registration fee per person. (DNR fishing rules followed). Prizes for heaviest fish: Chinook, Brown, Steelhead the overall length for tie breakers. Fishing times: 7am-12pm. Weigh-in must be done prior to 1:30pm Pyle’s Porthole.

January 30-February 1, 2015: See blocks of ice be transformed into dazzling ice sculptures. Warm up as you walk around and view the ice sculptures by trying the different chili at the town’s cook-off where restaurants and bars in town compete for the coveted “Con Carne Trophy.”

Tulip Festival in nearby Holland, Michigan
May 2-9, 2015: The annual Tulip festival in Holland, Michigan is full of Dutch inspired events for the entire family. National Blueberry Festival in South Haven, Michigan
